Head to head
EGO LB6504 vs Toro PowerJet F700 (2026)
Battery flagship vs corded value king: 650 CFM cordless against 725 CFM corded. The honest trade-off.
#1 in our rankings · Best overall

EGO Power+ LB6504
Best for: Medium to large yards with heavy leaf fall.
Our recommendation
Buy the Toro PowerJet F700 if your yard is within 100 feet of an outlet: more CFM, unlimited runtime, lower price. There is no contest on value. Buy the EGO LB6504 if the cord cannot reach, you hate cord management, or noise matters: 650 CFM battery power with a platform that covers your whole yard. Cord reach decides this comparison before specs do.
Power and runtime
The Toro wins both: 725 vs 650 CFM, and unlimited corded runtime vs 15 to 45 minutes per battery. The EGO's only power advantage is consistency of form: no cord to manage while you work around obstacles.
Noise
The EGO is noticeably quieter, especially at moderate trigger settings. The Toro's 12-amp motor at full power is the loudest option here. In noise-restricted neighborhoods or for early sessions, the EGO is the considerate choice.
Total cost
The Toro plus a 12-gauge extension cord costs a fraction of the EGO kit. The EGO's price buys the battery, the charger, and the platform. Over years of use the EGO's battery will eventually need replacement; the Toro has no consumable cost beyond electricity.

Strengths and limitations
EGO Power+ LB6504
Strengths
- 650 CFM max airflow is the highest in the residential battery class, moving wet matted leaves other blowers leave behind
- 56V ARC Lithium battery platform shared across EGO's mower, trimmer, and chainsaw lines
- Turbo button delivers a short maximum-power burst for stubborn piles, with variable-speed trigger for normal work
Limitations
- Premium pricing, especially with the high-capacity battery included in the LB6504 kit
- At full power it is heavy for extended overhead or one-handed use
- Turbo mode drains the battery fast; expect short runtimes at maximum CFM
Toro PowerJet F700
Strengths
- 725 CFM max airflow exceeds even the premium EGO, at a fraction of the price
- 12-amp corded motor delivers full power indefinitely: no batteries, no charging, no fade
- Variable speed plus a time-saving oscillating nozzle option for wide clearing passes
Limitations
- Corded: practical range is about 100 feet from the outlet even with an extension cord
- Cord management is genuinely annoying around trees, beds, and fences
- Louder than battery blowers at full power; check local noise ordinances

Questions, answered
Which is better for wet leaves?
The Toro's 725 CFM has the edge on paper, and corded power never sags. In practice both handle wet leaves well; the EGO's turbo button closes much of the gap in bursts.
Is the EGO worth triple the price?
Only if you need what the premium buys: cordless freedom, lower noise, and the battery platform. For pure leaf-moving within cord range, no: the Toro does more for less.
