Air Mattresses: Reviews, Comparisons & Buying Guide
Guest beds that hold air all night: height, pump and support compared honestly.
Air mattresses fail in predictable ways: they sag by 2 a.m., the pump is slow or loud, or the surface is so slick that sheets slide off. The differences that matter are internal support structure (coil beams or fiber beams versus plain chambers), bed height (which decides how a guest gets up in the morning), and whether the pump is built in, rechargeable, or missing entirely.
Every pick below is a real, current Amazon listing from a known bedding or outdoor brand, with the pump type, inflated dimensions and weight capacity taken from the manufacturer listing. Where brands disagree on a number, we say so rather than smoothing it over, because an air bed is only as good as its specs on the night you need it.
