Coleman SupportRest Queen Review (2026)
In-depth review of the Coleman SupportRest Double-High queen: ComfortStrong coils, PillowStop design and indoor-outdoor use.
Coleman SupportRest Double-High Queen 18 Inch
Camping-grade build with a PillowStop edge, at home indoors or out.
Our verdict
The SupportRest is the two-homes pick: tough enough for a tent, tall enough for the guest room, with a PillowStop edge that quietly fixes pillow loss. The trade-off is version confusion around the pump and a heavier rolled bundle than indoor-only beds. Buy it if one bed must serve both jobs.
What we like
- ComfortStrong coil construction is Coleman's camping-tough support system, rated to 600 lb on the listing.
- PillowStop raised head edge keeps pillows from sliding off during the night.
- AirTight system is factory tested for leaks and backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
What to watch out for
- Pump configuration varies by version (plug-in or battery), so confirm the exact variant before ordering.
- Antimicrobial flocked surface still needs a sheet for multi-night guest comfort.
- Heavier camping build is less compact than indoor-only beds when rolled.
Who it is for
Households that host indoors and camp a few times a year, and want one queen to cover both.
ComfortStrong coils and AirTight build
Coleman's coil construction contours to the sleeper and resists the bulging that channel-built beds develop. The AirTight system is factory tested to be leak-free and carries a 1-year limited warranty, which matters more on a bed that will be rolled, carried and inflated on campsite ground.
PillowStop and the flocked surface
A raised edge at the head of the bed keeps pillows in place, a small design choice that guests notice by not noticing it. The antimicrobial flocked top adds sheet grip. Coleman lists the size as 78 x 60 x 18 inches, slightly shorter than the 80 inch queens here, worth knowing for tall sleepers.
Pump versions: read the listing carefully
SupportRest beds ship in different pump configurations, including plug-in and battery-operated options, and retailer listings blend them. Before ordering, confirm which pump the exact variant includes, where it will be used, and whether batteries or an outlet are part of your plan.
How it stacks up
Against the Etekcity Camping Queen, the Coleman is a raised 18 inch bed with far more guest-room comfort, while the Etekcity is half the height, lighter to pack, and self-sufficient with its rechargeable pump. Against the King Koil Luxury Queen 20 Inch, the Coleman trades 2 inches of height and the built-in pillow for camping durability and the PillowStop edge. Home-only hosts pick King Koil; dual-use households pick Coleman.

Questions, answered
Can the SupportRest be used every night at home?
For guest stretches, yes. It is a camping-tough raised bed, but like all air beds it is designed for regular rather than permanent nightly use, and the warranty reflects that.
Is it really 78 inches long?
The listing states 78 x 60 inches, 2 inches shorter than most queens here. Sleepers over 6 feet tall should consider an 80 inch model like the King Koil or Intex Deluxe instead.
What warranty does it carry?
Coleman lists a 1-year limited warranty behind the AirTight system. Keep proof of purchase and test the bed on arrival.
